In the Era of Longevity and globesity, our older adults are prone to functional decline such as cognitive impairment and different degree of deterioration of physical ability due to sacropenia (loss of muscle), osteoporosis, joint problems and obesity. The prevalence of diet-related non-communicable diseases like hypertension, diabetes, heart diseases, stroke and cancers in Hong Kong is still on the rise, which increases the burden of the healthcare system, and more importantly, ruins our quality of life. It is proven by solid scientific evidence that nutrition in the elderly, or even earlier in our adulthood, is of prime importance to prevent ageing processes and degenerative illnesses.

With more than a decade of clinical and research experience in geriatric and public health nutrition, I am dedicated to improve health status, manage the co-existing medical conditions and prevent the functional decline by proper nutrition. Clients would be know better about their risks of diseases and functional decline from comprehensive nutritional assessment and evaluation of metabolic health risk. By knowing more about your current nutritional status and health risk, dietary recommendations on quality and quantity of foods and also the combination of foods could be tailored accordingly to your needs and fit well with your lifestyle. We hope the healthy yet tasty foods would improve your health status and invest for your future quality of life.
